APPOINTMENT TIMES

Please be punctual and adhere to the appointment time allocated to you. Alana's Dog Grooming Service caters to some anxious and anti social dogs and not mixing dogs is sometimes essential. 

Any delays will affect the quality of the groom. If you are over 15 mins late unfortunately the appointment will no longer be able to go ahead. In addition showing up early can distract the dog and make the grooming process difficult to complete so please wait quietly outside until Alana brings the dog out of the trailer.

 

COAT CONDITION

In the event of your pet's coat needing to be clipped down due to matting or coat neglect, Alana will not be liable for any post-grooming effects of this procedure, which is not without risk. Your pets health and welfare are of Alana's primary concern, and therefore the dog will be groomed according to its tolerance of the process and to the comfort of the dog. Extensive matting will result in an additional fee.

If your pet is fearful or aggressive in any way Alana might need to suggest a vet and may be unable to complete the groom.  

Although highly unlikely, accidents happen during grooming, in the event of an accident or serious injury you authorise Alana to seek emergency veterinary treatment. 

If an injury is to occur out of groomer error Alana will be responsible for any veterinary treatment.

AGGRESSIVE AND DANGEROUS DOGS

Alana reserves the right to refuse to groom any pet that may cause any potential risk of harm. Please disclose any aggressive or anti social behaviour prior to the groom so Alana can use the necessary equipment and techniques to ensure both the dog and Alana are safe.

PRICING

​

All prices are quoted as a starting price and additional fees are sometimes added for matted, overgrown, difficult or oversized pets. Costs are payable on collection. Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer and credit card. Please

note credit cards will incur a small fee.

GROOM FEEDBACK

​

Alana will supply you with feedback after the groom, if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the groom please let Alana know before you leave. If time is permitting, adjustments can be made and notes taken for the next groom.

PHOTOGRAPHS

​

You dogs picture may be taken during the groom and used for social media or the website, if you wish your dogs photo to not be published please let Alana know.

CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW'S

​

I respectfully request 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel your appointment. A reminder text message will be sent the day before as confirmation.

A late cancellation or a forgotten appointment will incur a 50% fee that will be added to your next appointment.
